Manchester Metropolitan University is a public university located in Manchester, England.  It was initially set up as the Manchester Mechanics Institute. It has affiliations from the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), Association of MBAs (AMBA) and the North West Universities Association (NWUA).
